Good product, shipping was slow

I bought the TruStretch Equinus Brace. The brace itself seems well-made and helped with my ankle stiffness. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected, around 8 days to get to my place in Ohio. The instructions could also be a little clearer on initial fitting.

Good value on Night Splint

I was looking for a Night Splint for Plantar Fasciitis and found Fix Equinus. I used a first-time buyer discount code which made the price pretty good. The splint arrived in about a week. It feels sturdy for what I paid. I definitely felt like I got a good deal here compared to other options I saw.

TruStretch brace experience

I ordered the Adult Equinus Brace because my doctor suggested it. The ordering process on the website was straightforward enough, I found what I needed without much fuss. Delivery took about a week and a half, which felt a little long. The brace arrived well-packaged. I had a question about adjusting the straps, so I used their online chat support. The person who helped me was polite and answered my question quickly. The brace itself is pretty comfortable for a night splint; it doesn't rub too much. I've been using it for a couple weeks now, and I can feel a difference in my Achilles tendonitis. It's not a miracle cure, but it definitely helps with the morning pain. Overall, a solid experience but the shipping could be faster.

Are these TruStretch braces actually legit? Or are they just another scam like some of the other stuff out there?

N Nina J. 1 month ago
They seem legit to me. My podiatrist actually recommended the TruStretch for my Achilles. Been using it for a few months and it's definitely helping.

Yeah, I've had good results. It's not a miracle cure overnight, but it's a real device. Feels sturdy and well made.

Can you use an HSA or FSA card for these braces? Trying to figure out if I can get it covered.

M Megan 1 month ago
Yes, I used my FSA card for my TruStretch brace! It went through without any issues, just like a regular credit card at checkout.

I'm pretty sure you can. Most medical devices qualify for HSA/FSA. It's usually listed on their payment info somewhere too.

Anyone ordered to New York recently? How long did shipping take?

J James Okafor 2 months ago
I'm in Brooklyn, and my last order took about 5 business days to get here. Not super fast, but not terrible.

Mine was about a week to upstate NY. Standard shipping, nothing fancy.

Does Fix Equinus ever have sales, like around holidays? Or is it mostly just the new customer discount?

D Dan Romero 1 month ago
They definitely do holiday sales! I got my brace during a Black Friday deal last year, saved a good chunk. Keep an eye out around November/December.

Yeah, and sometimes even in January. I signed up for their email list and they'll send out codes for seasonal stuff.

Considering the TruStretch vs. The Strassburg Sock. Any thoughts on which one is better for plantar fasciitis?

A Anna 2 months ago
I tried the Strassburg Sock first and it was okay, but the TruStretch felt more effective for me personally. It just gives a deeper, more consistent stretch. Sock was a bit flimsy.

Honestly, it might depend on how bad your PF is. I found the TruStretch to be way more substantial and gave better support than the sock. Worth the extra cost imo.

What's the return process like if the brace doesn't work out for me? Easy or a pain?

D David Foster 1 month ago
I returned a gel heel cup once, it was super easy. Just filled out a form online and shipped it back. Got my refund pretty quick.

Returns were fine for me too. Just make sure you're within their window, I think it's like 30 days or something. No hassle at all.

Anyone know if these guys offer a military discount? My buddy was asking.

N Nick Foster 2 months ago
I think they do! I saw something about it when I was checking out last month. Worth looking into on their site.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have one. Most places like this do, just gotta find the link or ask support.

Hey, thinking about getting a TruStretch brace. How do you figure out the right size? Is it just shoe size or do I need to measure something else?

L Lisa V. 2 months ago
Yeah, it's not just shoe size. I remember having to measure my calf and ankle, then compare it to their chart. It was pretty straightforward though.

S Shane 2 months ago
They have a sizing guide on the product page. I just followed that and my brace fit perfectly. Don't guess, definitely measure!
